(IGP) indicates that the event occurred in The (Ignathean) Peninsula, (CLS) indicates that the event occurred in The (Consolidated) Linger Straits

Historical Events (Pre-Show)

• High Adjudicator Egriman commissions Moridame Palace and is assassinated after declaring himself "King of the Peninsula" (IGP)

• Devlin's Edicts (IGP)
  • Immediately results in the mass sacrifices of followers of unlicensed faiths, including Carpenter's parents. Ultimately results in many more deaths over the ensuing years as followers of unlicensed faiths are imprisoned and used as official sacrifices.

• The Flooding of Fenford Maximum Security Confinement (IGP)
  • Caused by Carpenter's brother Em but has a large enough impact that it makes the Peninsulan news

Season 1 Events

• The execution of the Wither Mark at Bellwethers (IGP)
  • Many impacts on the show and its characters, but on the world stage, is a precipitating event of the war in Season 3
  • Carpenter is arrested by Hayward on suspicion of setting off the Wither Mark
  • Daggler attempts to kill Carpenter instead of arrest her in Bellwethers, and he is killed by a River Angel that Faulkner sets on the police officers.

• Sid Wright's Miracle (IGP)
  • Greater Glottage Radio and it's listeners are attacked by a stray god after an attempted sacrifice to the Grindinglord goes wrong
  • The miracle allows Paige to rescue Carpenter from Hayward

• Miracle at Marcel’s Crossing (IGP)
  • Faulkner attempts to set off the Wither Mark in Marcel's Crossing. Carpenter and Faulkner pray for a miracle from the Trawler-man, which he grants as a tidal wave
  • Hayward arrests Paige

Season 2 Events

• The Bellwethers incident is attributed to The Linger Straits (IGP)

• A suspected spy from The Linger Straits is detained and questioned over many months, but is ultimately released (IGP)
  • The suspected spy is Paige

• A wealthy family suffers "an act of terrorism at the hands of a Peninsulan" (CLS)
  • This is how the Neshite news reports the events involving Hayward and the Kensey estate

• Mercenaries travel along the White Gull River, on a killing spree against false faiths & other government targets (IGP)

• Adjudicator Shrue experiences their first assassination attempt (IGP)
  • Love-Saints attack Shrue and their entourage. It is unclear why this occurred, but the CLS is named the culprit

• Attack on Sub-Station Perigloss (IGP)
  • Carpenter attacks and kills the staff at Sub-Station Perigloss in revenge for Eliza

• Mercenaries attack Leaning Larch Holiday Village (IGP)
  • Mercer and Gage attack and kill the Carving Chapter
  • The attack frees Carpenter, Faulkner and Sister Thurrocks

• The first appearances of The Many Below in Nesh (CLS)
  • Esther Grammen and Dennis Duplass are the first Saints of the Many Below

• Mercenaries attack the Paraclete's Gulch (IGP)

• The attack on the Paraclete's Gulch ends (IGP)
  • Mason threatens and makes a deal with Adjudicator Shrue to legalise the Parish of Tide and Flesh
  • Gage kills Mercer

• Katabasian Mason is murdered (IGP)
  • Faulkner kills him and Sister Thurrocks when he is told that the Parish of Tide and Flesh will be legalised
  • Carpenter is framed

• Adjudicator Shrue is re-elected to the Legislatures (IGP)

Season 3 Events

• The war between The Peninsula and The Linger Straits begins

• The Dosser's Draft is introduced (IGP)

• The bridge over the channel between The Peninsula and The Linger Straits is destroyed
  • The culprit is unknown

• The channel-facing borders of both countries are protected by weaponized saints

• CenSec meetings begin in Moridame Palace to address the war (IGP)
  • Val is introduced as a Peninsulan weapon

• High Katabasian Roemont is assassinated (IGP)
  • Faulkner assassinates Roemont and Grenshaw in retaliation for the assassination attempt against him
  • Katabasian Greve announces Faulkner's actions to the Parish
  • Faulkner blames the Legislatures

• Anti-sacrificial sentiment inspires protests at Greater Glottage University (IGP)

• Fenton Power Plant is attacked, taking out a fifth of the power grid (IGP)
  • It is theorised to be either the CLS or the Woundtree

• The Saint Electric-worker's strike and the great Glottage blackout (IGP)
  • This causes riots in Glottage

• The Paraclete's Gulch is attacked by the Legislatures (IGP)

• Adjudicator Shrue experiences their second assassination attempt (IGP)
  • Press Secretary Carson attempts to assassinate Adjudicator Cross and Adjudicator Shrue during a Summit at GGU and fails

• The Massacre of Mal-Retour (CLS)
  • Val takes out three CLS battalions at Mal-Retour

• The Conclave and Nesh falls (CLS)

• The Peninsula wins the war with the Linger Straits
  • The Parish of Tide and Flesh is named in the announcement of the victory

• Adjudicator Shrue experiences their third assassination attempt during the Greater Glottage Radio Incident (IGP)
  • Brother Philly on Faulkner and Rane's orders kills Adjudicator Shrue while they are live on the radio.

• The Victory Day Parade in Glottage (IGP)
  • The legalisation of the Parish of Tide and Flesh is announced
  • The Wither Mark is set off by Faulknarian disciples of the Parish of Tide and Flesh, which is later known as The Victory Day Massacre
  • The attack is accredited to the Children of the Woundtree

• The death of the High Adjudicator is announced (IGP)

• The Britomart crash (IGP)
  • Press Secretary Carson tells his people to shoot down the High Adjudicator's plane
  • Carpenter, Hayward and Adjudicator Cross are on bored the Britomart when it is shot down
  • Carpenter and Hayward are the only survivors of the crash.

• The god-winds blow east from the Polluted Lands (IGP)
  • Val calls the Glottage Meteorological Society to put this in motion, in order to help the Children of the Woundtree
